Organized by the Wanda County Historical Society and Astera Health, What's the Wesley reached out to the local community with one not-so-simple question, what should happen next with this incredible building. 

The Wesley hospital was completed in 1925 and has served the community ever since; first as a hospital, then as an administrative building for Astera Health. As they continue to grow and modernize to provide the best services possible, the old brick building has become vacant and is full of potential. 

Over the course of the summer, we hosted conversations and attended community events to gain insight into what the community needs and how this building might best continue to serve as an asset. There was an overwhelming feeling of affection for the building but also a curiosity and hope for what it could become in the future.​
